Police Revision was founded in 2016 with a simple ambition — to give officers a genuinely better way to prepare for their promotion and detective examinations. The driving force behind it was personal experience: the high costs, outdated materials and the very real difficulty of fitting revision around operational policing and family life. There had to be a better way, and Police Revision was the answer.
Today, Police Revision supports thousands of candidates across the UK every year and has become a trusted learning partner for officers pursuing promotion and detective career pathways. Since partnering with The Red Snapper Group — which includes Police Oracle — in 2019, the platform has continued to grow, helping candidates consistently achieve very high marks in both the NIE and NPPF examinations.
We are also proud to work with a number of forces across the UK on their promotion and detective recruitment initiatives, maintaining up-to-date curriculum content to ensure we are always delivering the best possible service to both forces and candidates alike.
